Meet The Doctor

I was fortunate to meet Milo Shamus, the president and founder of Dr. Earth a number of years ago and I'm proud to call him my friend. He is a man with a profound vision of how simple and effective organic gardening should be, and how it not only will help make your garden more beautiful and productive, but also help the planet we all share. During his research, Milo discovered that plant and ocean based fertilizers are more effective than manures and animal based fertilizers. But most importantly, Milo discovered that the more that beneficial microbes existed in a particular area, the faster acting the fertilizer became. And then he figured out a way to grow and produce these microbes so he could package them inside the fertilizer he created to make it more effective, faster.

The Mighty Microbes

Dr. Earth Fertilizer contains various species of soil microbes. They make it they're personal duty to see to it that your plants get all the food they need, when they need it. These mighty little guys (and gals) work hard underground where they literally "shovel" nutrients from the fertilizer up to the plant roots. They also like to re-produce, pro-create - lets just say they enjoy themselves! With a little moisture in the soil, the numbers of microbes double hourly, reaching countless proportions relatively quickly.

The mighty microbes in Dr. Earth have the ability to convert organic matter into plant nutrients, which are stored and then released, at a later date. This can greatly increase yields while adding maximum plant growth, health potential and frost resistance. These microbes also decrease populations of unwanted bacteria, reducing the chances of your plants getting fungus or disease. Which means less spraying!

Our staff has been using Dr. Earth Fertilizers for quite a few years now, and the results have been nothing short of truly amazing. We can see a difference in every plant we feed within 15 days. We are able to fully green-up tired yellow plants within 30 days. And this fertilizer lasts. While we recommend using it every 2 months, many of our plants still look good after 3 months. We are using it in every display garden we have, and they look wonderful! The same results have been achieved in container plants. My staff and I have never used such an effective product and can't encourage you enough to try it.
