Fighting Hard Compacted Soil
Are you tired of working with chunks of soil the size of your fist? Is your soil as hard as cement? Do plants give you a nasty look when you introduce them to your garden? Do your plants have a sickly appearance? If so, it's time to bring on the Soil Buster and his friend Dr. Iron, two mighty warriors in the fight against the evil Soil Clod and his brother Chlorosis. While adding organic amendments to native soil at the time of planting is vital to good plant health, organics do decompose over time and extra help is needed to create an ideal growing environment.

Best Soil Buster is an easy-to-use palletized form of gypsum fortified with nitrogen, phosphorous, sulfur and calcium. It helps condition soils and aids in water penetration by breaking up dense, clay soils. It binds smaller soil molecules into larger soil molecules which allows vital moisture and nutrients to be carried to the root zone of plants, where they benefit the plant the moist.

Dr. Iron is an easy-to-use pelletized form of natural water soluble iron that has the added benefit of 55% sulfur. The two ingredients combine to lower soil pH, neutralizing alkaline soil and greening up plants. Your plants will develop stronger, deeper root systems to help them fight off diseases. Best of all, Dr. Iron is non-staining and non-burning. We recommend two applications of both products twice a year, once in spring and once in fall. So if your soil is cracking like the San Andreas Fault, nothing breaks up soil like Soil Buster, and nothing greens like Dr. Iron.
